I’ve been putting off writing this post for almost 2 months now out of sheer laziness. However, these past two days I’ve been trying to catch up on my BookTube subscriptions and it has reminded my why I love BookTube as a platform so much. I seem to engage with it in bursts currently, which is something I need to work on and make it part of my routine. Earlier this year, I hit upon the idea to pair my posts here on Unputdownable Books with similar videos from my favourite BookTubers so I can give them a shoutout in what I hope is a different way. I hope this helps you to discover some amazing BookTube channels to follow and I hope you like their content as well. Without further ado, let’s get into the list!
1. Fadwa @ Word Wonders
Fadwa is relatively new to the BookTube community, but she’s doing very well already. She also runs a successful book blog and attends med school while balancing all her bookish interests, which is incredible to someone like me who never finds time to do all the things I would love to. She’s a champion of diverse books and I’m sharing her list of anticipated reads for the rest of the year alongside mine to give you a variety of books to add to your TBR.

2. Justine @ I Should Read That
Justine is one of the very few BookTubers I follow who is as ardent an SFF fan as I am. I admire the way she speaks in her videos and it doesn’t hurt that her cats are often featured in them! She also has a weakness for pretty book covers like I do, which you can find out all about below.

3. Kav @ xreadingsolacex
Kav champions diversity with every breath and every video they put out. I like that their content is a bit different from the usual hauls, TBRs and so on that is very popular on BookTube now. They chat with one of with my favourite desi authors in their video and I was lucky enough to snag an interview with her as well, so check out both our conversations!

4. Regan @ Peruse Project
Regan is one of the few BookTubers who I have followed for almost 2 years now. She was the first person whose tastes aligned with mine because she loves fantasy too. Her book recommendations are always on point, as evidenced below, and you can also check out mine for bonus recommendations!

5. Emma @ emmmabooks
I’ve come to appreciate Emma more and more as I’ve followed her BookTube journey since 2018. She’s one of the few BookTubers who tries really hard to promote all kinds of diversity within the book community, which resonates with me a lot. In the following video, she offers tips on how make time for reading even with a busy schedule and I did a similar post a couple of months back, so I hope these help you out in your reading life!

Do you watch BookTube? Who are your favourite BookTubers? I would love to follow more POC, especially Asian, BookTubers who are not based in the US, so let me know in the comments section below if you have any suggestions for me!
Oh this is so perfect! I am addicted to book-tube, even though I am sure I’ll never find the courage to shoot my own videos. But I do follow all these people on there, and love how you paired your posts with these bookish videos!

I LOVEEE Booktube so much and Emma is one of my top favorites to watch. Her videos are always so creative and outside the box. I also heavily watch Christina Marie, Francina Simone, Lauren @ The Novel Lush, and Ochule @ OhSheReads. All black female content creators who love books!! And I watch Christine @ Polandbananasbooks, the OG of booktube!
